Wilson is a neighborly parking issue utility—a personal project—inspired by a parking error my fiancee made one day. That day she was somehow fortunate enough to avoid having her car towed, however, I knew she was lucky and realized there needed to be a better way for people to warn car owners—in real time—of mistakes like the one she had made. I decided to design Wilson to allow users to anonymously message vehicle owners using just their license plate state/number. It employs a simple, clean user interface with prepared messaging options, for simplicity’s sake (…and to avoid potential passive-aggressive messaging you might expect in this sort of situation.) It is built off of a CloudKit backend and utilizes CoreData for local storage.
